The 4 port itinerary was fantastic! Pricing was great. Food was on par with other Carnival cruises that I've been on (14), so no complaints there. Our room steward Jenny was absolutely amazing and one of the best I've ever had.

The Glory needed some updates and actually headed to dry dock right after debarkation. but no one knew that the slide and a pool would be out of commission, that the other pools would be tinged green and have rust or that the due to the work being done there would be construction on the deck making noise and taking up deck space. It was also disappointing that they opted to show nothing but PG 13 or older movies at the Dive In Theater all week, even in the 7:30 time slot until the very last night when they showed 2 animated kids movies back to back. It just seemed like poor planning and lack of consideration for the kids. I completely understand PG 13 and Rich rated movies later, and even on some nights in the early slot but to go 6 nights without a kids movies doesn't make sense and doesn't track with what we've experienced on past cruises.

I'm hoping that it's only because of the dry dock situation which had staff taking off as we docked that caused the most disorganized priority debarkation process, but the entertainment staff (minus the cruise director who was off) didn't communicate with each other and didn't communicate with the guests.

They also seemed to have issues with even the simple VIFP program as 3 of the 4 of us (2 rooms) didn't get our bottle of water (ever) and they failed to remove the laundry charge. The first time I was on the Glory 2 years ago it was fantastic, so I'm chalking this up to an anomaly and counting on Carnival to get it back together in the future.
