Carnival Cruises for Ridiculously Cheap

Guys, there are some CRAZY cheap prices going on with Carnival. I can tell you that I was seriously tempted to just book one of these but alas I must control myself and refrain from making any other big travel splashes.

So what’s the big deal?

Of course I’m only looking at the interior rooms but seriously with a cruise you’re never in your room anyways so no big deal!

Let’s look at cruises from Florida.

If you’re willing to look at some upcoming dates (April/May) a 4 day cruise to the Western Caribbean from Miami aboard Carnival Imagination is only $169-$209 a night.

Let’s crunch some of that…$209/4 = $52.25

Okay so you’re probably thinking…this is for last minute cruises right?

Now let’s look at the 5 Day Western Caribbean Cruise from Tampa, FL aboard Carnival Paradise.

For dates even out as far as August you can see that it’s at most $409. Divide that by 5 and it’s 81.80. That’s still cheaper than the Monte Carlo hotel at Warden and Steeles here in Toronto (it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere particular in Markham)

What about NYC?

The trend continues and just from this one sample, 5 Day Canada/New England from NYC with Carnival Glory.

At worst we see a deal for $429 on July 29. That works out to be $85.80. Best case it’s $349/5=$69.80

Alaska cruise anyone?

7 Days Alaska Cruise from Seattle with Carnival Miracle.

If we take the highest price here, this is still a heck of a deal. $609 for 7 days comes out to $87 a night. Just typing out all these days is making me tempted all over again.

What’s with all the deals?

Carnival has been getting a lot of bad press lately so this is their way of trying to turn it around and boost cruise sales. So apparently the Carnival Triumph a few weeks back (Sunday February 10) there was an engine room fire which knocked out its propulsion systems, leaving it stranded in the Gulf of Mexico. Read more about it here.
