Carnival Triumph - April 2014 - Galveston FunTimes

Our family just returned from a cruise aboard the Carnival Triumph in April 2014. When I mentioned that we were going on the Triumph, some people would look at me as if I just told them that I decided to go bungee jumping. This was obviously due to the negative publicity that Carnival received after the engine room fire aboard the Triumph last year.

In any case, the cruise portion of our trip went fine, and everybody had a good time. To give you some background, the cruise was a 5-day voyage sailing from Galveston, Texas. The ports of call were Progreso and Cozumel on the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula.

Before I cruise, I often like to look at the ship's schedule of activities: the Carnival FunTimes (formerly known as Carnival Capers), which other people have put on the Internet. Unfortunately, most of the Fun Times that I found for the Carnival Triumph were old, and some were not even for the Galveston-Progresso-Cozumel, Mexico itinerary.

So as a service to my fellow cruisers, I have converted the Carnival Triumph FunTimes for April 2014 into JPEGs. Over the next few post, I will publish these images to make it easy for people to see the schedule of events aboard the ship. This is the first one from Galveston:
